A hand-painted puzzle-RPG where you mine living crystals, solve rune boards, and unearth the buried story beneath the Woolloomooloo docks.
CrystalQuest Insight began in a converted wool-store loft in Woolloomooloo, where five developers wanted to prove a mobile puzzler could carry a real, emotional narrative. Every rune board is drawn by hand, scored live, and playtested at our Thursday open sessions with players from across Sydney.
We ship a meaningful update on the first Tuesday of each month — new chapters, accessibility options, and community-requested puzzle mechanics — and we read every message sent to the studio.

Absolutely. Every board is playable with no connection, which is ideal for the train or a flight. Your progress, achievements, and story choices sync across Android and iOS the moment you are back online.
We ship an update on the first Tuesday of every month, and new Rune Trial boards go live every Monday at 9am AEST. Updates are shaped by feedback from our Thursday playtest sessions in Woolloomooloo.
The game is rated for ages 9 and up. There are no chat features, no gambling mechanics, and no forced advertising. Parents can lock cosmetic purchases behind the device passcode in the settings menu.
